Finally finished the wallet I wanted to make for Brandy's grandma. Procrastination sucks. I think it turned out okay. Hard to recreate those gorgeous flowers.

It's a terrible picture but... illustrates just how awesome my girlfriend really is. We don't go out that much but when we do it's highly entertaining!

The first batch of homemade mozzarella was made into a salad with homegrown basil. Delicious!

Second batch the next night made with whole milk this time. Looks so damned professional!

Turning Lemons into Glass Pendants

I bought a quart sized ziplock bag filled with old stamp collecting kits a few months earlier at a book sale. Though I had hoped that it would contain a long lost rare misprint but I was a bit disappointed to find that it was just general issue, post metered. This did not detract from the awesomeness of the little colorful squares and rectangles that were designed during the 1930's - 1960's. So I decided to figure out how to make those awesome glass pendants that I've always coveted and here is my first batch! I'm really happy with them. "Mad Men" is right! We got slanted at the Save More Lounge. It was a straight up mission to bars on Beery's birthday! Nice to see all my Chicago friends who showed up for someone's birthday that they didn't know. Thanks guys!
