We joined some friends at the Museum of Osteology on the southside. It was really pretty awesome. Looked tiny from the outside but was packed with all kinds of jaw dropping skeletons. It was even featured on Dirty Jobs in 2007.
The darkest restaurant I have ever been in. Old school American Chinese restaurant complete with kitschy plastic lanterns (which I want desperately) and golden dragon wall decor. The food was not that shabby either. Pretty awesome that something like this still exists.
Various tomato plants that survived the various wind storms.
Sugar snap peas getting ready to climb my improv trellis.
The south bed complete with out of control patty pan squash plant. It has about twenty blossoms already!
The north bed. Pole bean trellis tepees fashioned from discarded bamboo.
So far the swiss chard and the mixed lettuce plants have been the real producers. Hoping that with our combined knowledge and fresh compost we will be able to really kick some ass next year. Go Team Farmer!!!
New wallets just listed on etsy. Sales have been down this month but I've stepped up promotion through the summer. Would like to donate at least $1500 this year.
