Scout Show

Went to see Scout play at The Subterranean with Sarah and Bob. Really amazing to see her live. I was talking to a girl in the bathroom right after the show and she said "I know it sounds cheesy but seeing her live changed my life". I love it when people are cool with really digging something in an honest, unpretentious way!

Autumn Equinox

Sarah's cat friend, Dewey!

A very classy chair I spotted for sale in Lincoln Square.

Bloggers.

Under the serrated sky.

Terrible pic but TT was so happy to be reunited with Beery. You can almost see her smile.

The Helen in me takes over often.
I had to celebrate the first fall leaves by pressing them in my thickest book.

A few more goat wallets. They sold in a matter of minutes!!!

Helen. I miss her so much.

Purple shiny goat friends.

I went to the DMV to get my Illinois State ID on Monday. I was feeling light headed and everything was extra surreal. Forest Glen appeared to be an abandoned industrial wasteland complete with trucks on the side of the street with bullet holes and busted out windows. Under an overpass I saw this old, faded mural that said, "Forest Glen - One of Chicago's Finest Communities". I think it should read, "Forest Glen - A perfect place for a DMV".

Beery on the bus.

A really pretty church I walk by often on one of my destressin' walks.

Last goats.

"Mad Men" is right! We got slanted at the Save More Lounge. It was a straight up mission to bars on Beery's birthday! Nice to see all my Chicago friends who showed up for someone's birthday that they didn't know. Thanks guys!
